Canceling or postponing events on Virtuosica

Cancel or postpone event

If you’d like to change or cancel your booked events on Virtuosica, please make sure to read the Virtuosica Event Fees Refund Policy before making any changes to your event. 

Note that canceling your booked event may incur fees and / or penalties. 

Event Owners - canceling an event

If you are the owner of the event, i.e. the event was created from your account, go to Events, then select the specific event you'd like to cancel, find the Cancel Event button and complete the cancelation process. 

Event Owners - postponing an event

If an Artist or Artists have already been hired for the event, you will not be able to change the date or time of the event. If your event is open and pending, you may make adjustments by going to the Events page, finding the event in question, then editing the event details. 

If it's a minor adjustment to the time, we suggest you use messaging to communicate with the hired Artists and agree to a new time or even date, so as to avoid incurring any cancelation fees for the event.  

If it's a major postponement, we suggest you consider canceling the event and creating a new one with the new date and time. 

Hired Artists - canceling an event

If you have been hired for an event, you may cancel your engagement for the event at any time. Please note that canceling your engagement may incur penalties and / or lowered ratings on your profile, especially if you are canceling at the last minute. 

Go to Events, then select the specific event you'd like to cancel, find the Cancel Event button and complete the cancelation process. 

We highly recommend discussing any cancelations with the event owner or organizer before going through with the cancelation.
