Virtuosica event fees refund policy

Event fees refund policy

Event Owners (users who has created the event via their respective accounts) may cancel any scheduled event at any time before the scheduled date and time of the event, under the following conditions:

  • If an event is cancelled before any Artist or Artists have been booked for the event (pending event), no penalties will be incurred and no payment or transaction will have taken place. If you have made any payments to the Artist, Artists or any third parties off the Virtuosica platform, Virtuosica is not responsible for those payments or any related potential refunds and, unfortunately, we cannot help in those cases. For this reason, we recommend you keep all communications and payments to Artists on the Virtuosica platform.
  • If an event is canceled two weeks (14 days) or more before the scheduled time and date of the event in question, a refund of 75% will be issued, minus any associated Stripe fees. The remaining funds, minus any associated Stripe fees, will be distributed accordingly between Virtuosica, Inc. and the Artist or Artists hired for the event.
  • If an event is canceled one week (7 days) and up to 13 days before the scheduled time and date of the event in question, a 50% refund will be issued, minus any associated Stripe fees. The remaining funds, minus any associated Stripe fees, will be distributed accordingly between Virtuosica, Inc. and the Artist or Artists hired for the event.
  • If an event is canceled three (3) days and up to six (6) days before the scheduled time and date of the event in question, a 25% refund will be issued, minus any associated Stripe fees.  The remaining funds, minus any associated Stripe fees, will be distributed accordingly between Virtuosica, Inc. and the relevant Artist.
  • If an event is canceled at any time within 72 hours (3 days) of the scheduled time and date of the event in question, no refunds will be issued.  The remaining funds, minus any associated Stripe fees, will be distributed accordingly between Virtuosica, Inc. and the relevant Artist, whether the event has taken place or not.

Pending events (not yet accepted by both parties and scheduled) may be canceled at any time, without incurring any penalties or charges.

Event Artists may cancel any scheduled event (gig) at any time before the scheduled date and time of the event, under the following conditions:

  • If an Artist cancels a gig one week (7 days) or more before the scheduled time and date of the event in question, Virtuosica, Inc. reserves the right to procure associated Stripe fees from the Artist User if and as incurred in issuing a full refund to the Event Owner.
  • If an Artist cancels a gig at any time within six (6) days of the scheduled time and date of the event in question, Virtuosica, Inc. reserves the right to procure associated Stripe fees and any other related fees from the Artist User if and as incurred in issuing a full refund to the Event Owner.
  • Virtuosica, Inc. reserves the right to suspend, terminate or limit access to features of the Artist User account due to gig cancelation behavior or frequency on the Platform.
  • If an Artist does not cancel a gig but is a “no show” (does not render the performance, as agreed, at the scheduled time and date), Virtuosica, Inc. reserves the right to procure associated Stripe fees and any other related fees and penalties from the Artist User.

Pending events (not yet accepted by both parties and scheduled) may be canceled at any time, without incurring any penalties or charges.

Pending events (not yet accepted by both parties and scheduled) may be canceled at any time, without incurring any penalties or charges.

If you have received any payments or requests for refunds for payments made off the Virtuosica platform, Virtuosica is not responsible for those payments or any related potential refunds. Similarly, Virtuosica cannot be held responsible for any amounts due to you if you have requested payment for an event or gig you discovered on Virtuosica but booked off the platform.

For this reason, we recommend you keep all communications and payments on the Virtuosica platform.
