My credit card was billed multiple times for the same purchase. How did this happen and what can I do?

This article explains what to do if your credit card has been charged multiple times for the same purchase.

Multiple purchases happen on very rare occasions.

Please note that the refund can sometimes take a few days to be reflected on your credit card statement, depending on your bank and card issuer.
